I. Preparations

II. Key account-opening details
1. Link redirection: Copy the invitation link, paste it into your phone’s default browser, and continue registering only after confirming that it redirects to the app.
2. Account type: Select only the Invest account (do not select an ISA account, as this requires a UK national tax number).
3. Tax number: Enter your Chinese ID number as the taxpayer identification number. If the system says that your tax residency and country of residence (the UK) do not match, select the reason: “I just arrived in the UK and have not yet obtained a UK tax number.”
III. Depositing funds and claiming the reward
Eligibility for first-time users: Only new users who have never previously opened a Trading 212 account in any country are eligible.
Deposit requirement: Deposit ≥ £1 within 10 days of successfully opening the account (the earlier you deposit, the sooner the share reward will be issued).
