CTExcel is the first product launched by China Telecom for overseas public customers. Highlights: the data allowance is shared between China and the UK, meaning UK plan data can be used in mainland China. Activation cannot be done in mainland China; you must activate it in the UK/Europe before it can be used in mainland China.

The 180-day validity period is pretty decent, but roaming data is a bit pricey since it’s billed by the MB—better suited for light users.
